Feet / Frames

Footage numbers for film, either separated by a colon or by a “plus” sign. For example, 101:16 and 0101+16 both indicate a point 101 feet and 16 frames into the film. There are 16 frames per foot of 35mm film, and 40 frames per foot of 16mm film. See SMPTE timecodeLFOPABS.
