Sign (Signo)

 A musical symbol (D) indicating a particular place in the music, e.g., D.S. (Dal Signo), meaning “play from the sign.” D.S. (S.R.) means “play from the sign without repeats,” and D.S. (C.R.) means “play from the sign with repeats.”
