Power

(1) Electric power: The time time-rate of doing work or the rate at which energy is used. A watt of electrical power is the use of one joule of energy per second. Watts of electrical energy equals volts times amperes.

(2) Acoustic power: The number of watts of energy produced by any sound source or transducer. See acoustic intensity.
