Note-doubling

An (undesirable) effect caused by a MIDI loop, i.e., when data fed to a sequencer’s MIDI In appearing at the MIDI Out to be fed back into the keyboard. This sounds like flanging, and cuts the polyphony of the synthesizer in half. Also called a MIDI Loop.
